City To Open Arabic Public School In Brooklyn

February 13, 2007

The Department of Education says that it will open a public school next fall dedicated to Arabic language and culture.

The Khalil Gibran International Academy is one of 40 new schools that will their debut in the city next September.

Education officials say although half the classes at the school will be taught in Arabic, they want to enroll a diverse student body.

The school is set to open in Brooklyn.

Now here's the scary part (as if the above isn't bad enough...) they haven't listed whether or not the arabic teachers of the language and culture will be muslims or not. One has to remember that much of the "culture" that is taught in arabic countries is taught from the eyes of the Koran throught the immams. If that is the case with the school being opened in NYC, then we'll basically end up with a terrorist school opening in the heart of our own post-terrorism-victim city of New York. Now that may sound like a harsh assumption, but with just a little bit of reasoning power you will see that to be the obvious outcome. Why? Because of the teachings of the Koran. If you haven't read the Koran, then please don't comment that this is not so. I have several copies and have read it several times comparing the different translations and editors. They all teach cruelty and death to anyone who refuses to convert to Islam. So, there's just a curious little question to watch for...who will be the instructors at this new school?
